The Baku F1 2026 Concerts, and Getting Back Afterwards

The 2026 Baku race weekend had an evening programme, and it was not at the circuit.

Calvin Harris played on Thursday 24 September. Katy Perry played on Friday 25 September. Both were listed at 20:00, at Crystal Hall. When the organiser publishes a programme for a future race, the same questions apply.

Why the venue matters more than the line-up

Crystal Hall is not part of the Baku City Circuit. It is a separate venue, so the walk you worked out from your hotel to your grandstand tells you nothing useful about this.

That turned each concert night into two journeys rather than none. You go out to the venue in the evening. You come back late, into a city that has already closed a large part of its centre for the race.

Both of those journeys happened on the two busiest nights of the week.

The timing worked

The 2026 schedule left room, which was the good news.

Second practice ended at 17:00 on Thursday. Qualifying ended at 17:00 on Friday. Both concerts started at 20:00. Three hours is enough to leave the circuit, get back, eat something and change.

It is not enough to be casual about the journey out. Leaving the centre at 19:30 on a race weekend is optimistic.

What we cannot tell you

Whether a ticket includes a concert.

In 2026 the organiser published the line-up and the start times on its schedule page. What it did not publish there was which ticket types admitted you to which evening. That varies by ticket, and it is the organiser’s to answer, not ours.

Check it before you build an evening around it. We would rather send you to bakucitycircuit.com than guess on your behalf.

The part we do handle

The ride back.

A concert ends late, the centre is closed, and everybody wants the same thing at once. It is the worst moment of the week to open a taxi app. It is also entirely predictable. That means it can be booked in advance.

Tell us which nights you are going and where you are staying. We will have a car waiting rather than a queue.

What to send us

The dates, the number of passengers and the address you are staying at. If you are going to two concert nights, say so, because the two nights are booked as one arrangement and not two.
