5 Days in Azerbaijan: Complete Itinerary

Five days in Azerbaijan is enough for Baku. The Absheron peninsula and one hill place when you accept. The country is larger than a city break. This plan uses two days in Baku, one day for Gobustan and Absheron. One travel day to Gabala. And a final return day. It avoids the common mistake of treating a long between-city drive as empty time.

Days 1 and 2: Baku at a human pace

On day one, walk Icherisheher and the waterfront. The Old City’s Maiden Tower and Palace of the Shirvanshahs give the old frame. Baku Boulevard gives you the Caspian edge. Keep the first day open if it follows a flight.
